Happy Mom's Day!

As you can see, I've sent my Mom on a holiday to the seaside. But Mom...doesn't that red lightsaber mean you've gone over...to the dark side?!

thanks for theletter from the last post. I probabaly shouldn't make pictures of my mom, as they would be kind of unflattering.

I love this game! Thanks for the link. I've done my mother and I'm sending it to her :)

Thanks for the greeting. Yes, I've gone over to the dark side but you know I live in California so fear not... I'll be back!
Love, Mom

what a cute picture! You look just like your mom ;)

BTW alaswad has the cutest little licky face avatar, don't you think?

when are you going to CA? I think I am going to San Diego next month or in July. I need to go see my Daddy.

I can't believe I missed this yesterday - the perfect gift for Mom. Maybe I'll just send it to her a day late . . .

I LOVE it!

Sounds fun but I'll have to wait ten months because it's not UK Mother's Day until March.

Cool! And yes, I'm alive and well :-)

Alaswad, yep, that's the best kind! And it's not procrastination if it's for your Mom! ;-)

JackT, this made me laugh. But my Mom is very efficient, so I wouldn't be surprised.

Mr. American, yeah, it does, doesn't it?

Mr. Baldo, thank you...now that I'm on the Mr. Baldo list, my blogging life is complete. I hope all the Ms. Baldo's in your life had good Mom's day.

Morose, hmmm...now I'm curious. ;-)

Ms. Mood, oh, good! I am thinking of doing myself a profile pic with this..it's fun!

Hi Mom! Good, I look forward to seeing you back!
:-)

Sangroncito, interestingly, I can't find when Mom's Day is here. But I'd say 'Glædelig Mors Dag'. I'd give pronunciation tips, but I'm not sure how to describe the vowel combination with the sort of silent, sort of soft d sound going on in the middle of glædelig. The rest is sort of like 'moors day'.

Kunstemæcker, so you're saying that your Mom is about as fun to play with as your grandmother?
;-)

Daphnewood, yep, I do look like my Mom. And in June, you may get to see how much I look like my Dad, too! As for Alaswad, she's pretty cute in person, too, quirky and fun...and I'm entranced by the kitty face, too. And, I plan to go to Calif, but not until February or March. We'll even be in your part of the state for a short while...Thor wants to see the Grand Canyon and Death Valley, so we're planning to fly into Arizona somewhere, and do a road trip, through Vegas to So. Cal, and then up to see my folks. But the summer is booked...July in Lisbon, and then most of August in China.

Meow, I had a great weekend, very productive. I hope yours was good, too! :-)

Deepa, thanks for your visit...I visited you briefly, but will have to finish my project first before I can visit you properly and comment and everything.

Etchen, thank you!

Roro, thanks for visiting! My feeling is that it's always a good time to turn your mother into a South Park character...kind of weird seeing as I'm not a big South Park fan.

Maddy, :-) I love your 'b' words!

Vanessa, thanks! :-) And, hey, aren't you going on a big trip soon?

James, I think this is the first year that I've been in Europe that I've remembered Mother's Day. I may have done something on Portuguese Mother's Day once, but I can't really remember.

HB, Welcome back! I hope you are having/have had a great time in Oslo! :-)

It wasn't mother's day here in the UK, thankfully, it would have given me another opportunity to forget :(.

kimananda sagde ...

Jack, don't fret...you can forget again next March.
