After: Wake up at 6:15am. Leave house at 6:45. Spend 10 minutes scraping snow and ice off the windows, then drive to work, for a total of 50 minutes ice scraping and transport time. Arrive 10 minutes before class. Spend wait in warm car and read. Feel really energetic all day from relatively late wake-up time.
How long will it take before I'm back to driving instead of biking? Or driving instead of walking? It's somehow just like being a Californian again.

I want to sing: What a difference a car makes... ;)
But yes! I would kill myself if I had to commute 90 minutes! The longest I had to go took me about 40 minutes and it drove me insane - mainly because if I had a car it would take me 15 tops!
But sometimes it's the inverse - you get there faster with public transportation (but it's rare!).
Well, considering how cold it must get there, I'd have gotten a car a long time ago. I'm weak like that.
I'm sorry about my english today. all the good grammar went on strike.
The sad thing is that what finally made me break down and drive to work wasn't the time, or even the early start...it was the cold! When the course started, I would spend that 20 minutes writing in my journal or reading, but then the slow approach of winter began...and I got tired of just waiting for 20 minutes staring into space! And what's wrong with your English? It looks o.k. to me!
