The joy (not) of paperwork

I hate paperwork. No, I really, really hate it, with a flaming, burning passion. But apparently, as a freelancer, if I want to get even sort of proper maternity leave (and I believe that is something that I would like), I have to fill out tons of it. And I'm not even doing it all by myself (Thor is doing loads, and knows what I need to do and fill out)...if I had to figure it out on my own, well, I don't honestly think I could do it.

But worse than that is when there's paperwork we need to fill and we know nothing about it because nobody informs you properly or nobody really knows.
Good luck with the filling-in

i abhor paperwork. and juggling as a freelance writer and a consultant i have my fair share of it as well. the worse is at the end of the year tough when i need to fill in my tax reports. living in a bureaucratic nightmare we even have a form taking permission to fill in forms.

aaargh!

Ms. Mood, I totally agree. But at the same time, I keep learning that it's usually just a matter of figuring out whom to ask. People are surprisingly helpful, if asked.

Ms. Black Scorpio, e-mail sent. :-)

Phish, aaargh indeed! I have a tendency to put off doing paperwork until it's too late as well, which makes it even worse.
