39x365 #18: Mickey Mouse
Though I don’t remember it personally, I apparently was toilet trained in exchange for a trip to Disneyland. To meet you. Except that I was too awe-struck to actually approach you. I still think you’re cool, but Minnie’s cooler.
Ms. Mood, I'm still shy of them, but not as much in awe of them as I apparently was way back then. My mom tells of my open-jawed awe at seeing Mickey for the first time in Disneyland...along with my Mom's anger at herself for not having her camera handy to take a photo of it!
Jonathan, I haven't paid attention to her butt, it's the yellow shoes that do it for me.
I was Minnie for a ballet recital once. Then a couple years afterward my sister got her hands on the dress and she didn't take it off for more than about five hours during the next two years. We used to have to fight with her to get her to take it off. Eventually we reached a compromise, that it would be washed while she was in the bath and she would refuse to leave the bathroom until the dress was finally out of the dryer.

That sounds like the kind of thing I would have done as a child. Or maybe the kind of thing that most kids do?
