39x365 #16: Waiter in that cafe in Lisbon

I became a ‘local’ in your café. Then, you started another café nearby. Peering in months later, you invited me in and gave me my usual order. Which had since changed. I could never bring myself to tell you.

Sweeet.
A waiter that became a cafe owner? There is hope for the future ;)

Well, it's not really that simple, and I'm not sure I know the whole story...but I believe that he co-owned the previous cafe, and just happened to also work there (an ex of mine had been going there since his childhood, and pointed out the owners to me anyway). They (this guy and the other owner) then sold the larger place and bought a smaller place down the road. But all of that didn't fit in 39 words!

This made me sad. You had move on, you had changed as person, and your friend only had your old order to go by. Ah, I have an autumnal feeling now. And my BEKRAEFTELSE AF ORD is Brigworm.

Greg, don't be sad. It's good to move on, and it's good to relive old times via a good tosta mista (my old order). But I know what you mean about an autumnal feeling...in my case, it's verging on a winter feeling, maybe because of the snow here.

you moved on from tosta mista?!? but why?

I wouldn't mind a real tosta mista right now...

I didn't move on...but determined that a sandes mista can be just as tasty and satisfying, but cheaper. And since I was eating breakfast out in a cafe every single day, it seemed like a wise change to make. But no, the tosta mista is still one of my all-time faves.
