My long ago long-term lunch partner. Mother of two young-ladies-in-training. One of my many motherhood role models, the right amount of caring and laid-back. Which would be of more use except we’re both so bad at keeping in touch.
hehe It's amazing to think that we've been learning to be mothers and fathers ever since we were born, first with our parents and then with every other parent we've come across (well, hopefully not every one!)
Yep, we learn from all around us. And, wherever we are, our social circles become a kind of family. I feel that I've had many families in addition to my 'original' one, in all the places I've live.
