Leap Day Overachieving

First, let me wish you all a happy and healthy Leap Day. A day which, on the one hand is just another day, but on the other hand, is really special.

A day for us to wish it was our birthday...I think it would be cool to be turning 10 today!
A day for women to propose to their men (I'm not necessarily planning to propose, but it's an interesting thought!)
A day for flouting convention, and posting on the Blog365 day of rest (well, I can't be following all the rules totally to the letter, that would be boring).

I declare it a day of celebrating, as a symbol of regularity and of rarity. A day to go out and feast, or otherwise commemorate. And then to flog convention by blogging about what you did.

haha I love it that it was your blog365 day off, but still you didn't take it. Workaholic! ;)

I also support the idea of doing unconventional things today.

Well, yes and no. My real motivation is that I'd like to do the 365 posts, and I'm sure that I'll miss at least a day to give birth, and to stay a while in the hospital afterwards...so I've swapped Leap Day for the big birth day. Either way, it's obsessive, I know, but I'm just really finding this blogging everyday process to be so revealing...

And in my opinion, unconventional things are always welcome. :-)

LOL Of course! I guess you're allowed to have a birth day :) or two...

Ms. Mood, thank you! I suspect that I'll be without internet access for a short while in the summer as well, so I need to blog while I can! ;-)

Jonathan, yep! New York in 1952. I thought it was a pretty cool image. Happy belated Leap Day to you as well! :-)
